NOTICES:

- There are new to the Agreement with the Swedish universities. To make possibile le lezioni in lingua inglese e per problemi di organizzazione sono previste delle piccole variazioni del regolamento della triennale e della magistrale.

- Ci sono state 223 iscrizione ai pretest per la facoltà di scienze, con anche persone provenienti da Milano. I test si svolgerano verso fine Marzo (il 15,21,22). Sul totale, 20 persone hanno dichiarato l'intenzione di iscriversi a fisica.

- Il prossimo anno il prof. Mosè Visconti ha deciso di non tenere il corso di Fisica dell’Ambiente. Possibile sostituto in arrivo.

- Un comitato comasco sta organizzando a Como un “festival della scienza” (previsto verso Marzo 2011), con tema “Como città della luce”. Sono inoltre in programma altri progetti di divulgazione. E' prevista un'iniziativa simile anche a Lecco.

-Labo 5 viene svolto regolarmente nel prossimo semestre (richieste dei ricercatori in parte accolte). Anche la prof.ssa Simona Galli ha dato la sua disponibilità nel riprendere la didattica.

Ciao colleghi,

il 25 febbraio si è riunito, credo per la seconda volta da sempre, il Senato degli studenti di Como, ovvero un'organo che riunisce i rappresentanti degli studenti della sede comasca dell'Insubria.

C'è la possibilità che quest'organo nato dalla volontà representatives provided for in the new statute of the university, but we'll see when there will be a new statute , which is currently the heart of the matter.

Faculty Council Open Day 01/27/2011

After a long period in which I have been faithful to my commitments "institutional" including the latest information [come mi è stato fatto da più parti notare ;-)] sui consigli di Facoltà, ecco finalmente il resoconto del CdF di gennaio.

In primo luogo vengono accolte le dimissioni del vicepreside di Facoltà prof. Palmisano (di cui ignoro le motivazioni). Vengono poi approvati alcuni incarichi esterni per professori della Facoltà e i fondi della Facoltà per attività di tutoraggio. Attenzione, viene poi comunicato che il cantiere per la palazzina che ospiterà laboratori e studi per il dipartimento di Scienze chimiche e ambientali sarà aperto il primo giorno del mese di marzo. Il fatto che l'appalto sia stato assegnato anche sulla base del tempo previsto per la realizzazione ci rende leggermente più ottimisti di quanto saremmo se facessimo affidamento solo ai precedenti degli interventi edili sulla sede di Valleggio...

Una buona notizia è che la seconda tranche del FED avrà lo stesso importo della prima, dunque non ci sarà la diminuzione dei fondi che si temeva.

Vengono poi discusse due modifiche al regolamento della Facoltà: una per la creazione del CCD interfacoltà con Scienze Varese per il corso di laurea in Scienze dell'Ambiente e della Natura (che comunque afferisce alla Facoltà di Scienze do Como) e una per introdurre la possibilità che alcuni corsi della laurea specialistica in Fisica siano tenuti in lingua inglese visti i termini dello "scambio" con la Linnaeus University (di cui già avete sentito).

Le novità legislative introdotte dalla legge Gelmini e DM 17 renderanno necessari un po' di cambiamenti. Innanzitutto le Facoltà sono destinate a "sparire" sostituite da macro-dipartimenti. Nel nostro caso la transizione non sarà così traumatica visto che l'attuale configurazione dipartimentale (Fisica + Matematica e Scienze Chimiche + Ambientali) già si presta ad essere adottata.

Sarà anche necessario modificare il regolamento del turn over e lo statuto dell'Università. A tal fine ogni facoltà dovrà present the candidates (one for each band: a full professor, associate, assistant professor) so that each "pole" university there is a component for each role (in Como for example, if the ordinary law puts the member sends Sciences and the researcher and vice versa). E 'will also be a student representative, one city. We have not heard the "top brass" in the Academic Senate and Board of Directors, we'll do it soon.

L'ufficio Diritto allo Studio è stato invitato a partecipare ad un incontro di presentazione del programma in oggetto, presso Regione Lombardia. Il programma offre opportunità di finanziamento ad iniziative giovanile che è opportuno siamo conosciute da tutti gli studenti

Gioventù in Azione 2007-2013 è un programma della Commissione Europea - Direzione Generale Istruzione and Culture, which promotes non-formal education, European projects of international youth mobility through individual and group exchanges and voluntary work abroad, intercultural learning and the initiatives of young people aged between 13 and 30 years.

To achieve its objectives, the Youth in Action Programme makes use of five operational Actions

Action 1 - Youth for Europe Action 2

European Voluntary Service Action 3 - Youth in the World
Action 4 - to sustain Youth
Action 5 - Support for European cooperation in youth

In particular, under Action 1, we note the sub 'youth exchanges' which allows groups of young people from different countries to meet and know each other's cultures. The exchange is designed by young people themselves, based on a common theme.
